Celebrating Black History in Hamtramck
The history of Hamtramck's Black community is amazing courage, persistence and a determination to see justice done. You can learn about that at the new exhibit now on display at the Hamtramck Historical Museum, 9525 Jos. Campau.
A special program to highlight the display and to pay tribute to the
Black History Month will be held at the
Hamtramck Historical Museum
Saturday, February 29
2:00pm - 4:00pm
There will be light refreshments, a short PowerPoint presentation and a special performance by the St. Luke Baptist Church Gospel Choir.
There is not admission to attend (donations are always welcome)
It will be an educational and entertaining afternoon for the whole community. All ethnic groups and religions are invited to be part of this historical event!
